Welcome to The Hug Shop—where love is delivered in the softest, most comforting way possible.

Long before plans were drawn up for The Hug Shop I strongly felt that people were begging for a new and alternative way to show someone they really care. As far back as I can remember, it’s always been sending flowers, a box of chocolates or a greeting card. I learned, that what people really wanted was a sincere hug from a family member or someone special. Receiving a sincere hug is often more helpful and important than a shot in the arm. Giving someone a hug tells someone that you really care. Whether you admit it or not, each and every one of us needs to know that we are loved, and that someone cares. Sadly, family members are often spread across the country but even when that's not the case we're all running around like chickens with our heads cut off and, for whatever reason, we forget the need to slow down and connect with that someone special that we care about. No time for hugs anymore! Didn't always used to be that way. It was realizing this that I came up with the idea of coming up with a teddy bear named HUGS. 

Unfortunately, there's a lot of lonely or sad people out there. People that are in the need or deserving of a hug. Many are knotted up inside and receiving a hug can do wonders to undo that knot. The Hug Ambassadors that work inside the hug shop understand all of the above and are committed to doing whatever they can to turn one's frown upside down. Hugs mission is to do just that and to put a smile in one's heart!
